Where is the Money for NY Small Business? #SHOWNEWYORKBUSINESSESTHEMONEY

On April 15th the SBA and Dept of Treasury announced that the funding for the Payroll Protection Program ("PPP") had been exhausted. A survey of our membership indicates that no one got any money. This has us concerned!

The applications were supposed to be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Many of our members filled out their applications the first day; but have nothing to show for it. Where did the money go?

We believe that the banks steered all the money to their favorite, larger customers. NOT FAIR!

AGAIN; we are standing up for the real "small businesses" who the program was meant for. We are at the epicenter of a pandemic and ordered to shut down. While unemployment benefits were beefed up and large corporations got bailed out;small business & entrepreneurs are once again being unfairly overlooked.

Please join us as we fight to keep small business afloat. If you are waiting for money, having trouble filling out applications or have any other concerns; let us know. We will never quit and will continue to do interviews, contact local, state & federal officials as well as agencies to get more funding for the small businesses & entrepreneurs who really need it!
