Greater New York Chamber hosts Black History Awards at BB Kings

Friday, February 23rd GNYCC hosted its annual Black History Awards Reception at BB King's in Times Square. The special guest emcee was Larry Mullin, the 1010 WINS News drivetime anchor. The event started with a networking breakfast, after which we honored the late, great, legendary blues artist BB King with the Bill McCreary LEGEND Award.

Friday, February 23rd GNYCC hosted its annual Black History Awards Reception at BB King?s in Times Square. The special guest emcee was Larry Mullin, the 1010 WINS News drivetime anchor. The event started with a networking breakfast, after which we honored the late, great, legendary blues artist BB King with the Bill McCreary LEGEND Award. Bill McCreary, a former Fox Newscaster and honorary Chamber Board Member was in attendance for this prestigious award. Other honorees were Karl Rodney the publisher of CaribNews, Mercedes Ellington of the Duke Ellington Center for the Arts, Denis Estimon of We Dine Together, Dr. Betty Perkins of Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers, former NYS Governor David Paterson and Duane Jackson a Naval Veteran & Times Square Hero.
