LEGOLAND New York Theme Park to Create 1300 jobs

When it opens in spring 2020, the Resort will feature more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, and will also include a 250-room LEGOÃÂ® themed hotel from the outset, making it the ultimate multi-day LEGO experience.
LEGOLANDÃÂ® New York Resort is a unique outdoor theme park destination for kids ages 2-12 and their families. Currently under construction in Goshen, NY just over an hour from New York City, the 150-acre Resort will be the biggest ever built by Merlin Entertainments.

At LEGOLAND New York, kids and their families will be able to push, pull, steer, squirt, splash, crawl, climb, and of course, build their way through eight different lands, all themed to popular LEGO toys including LEGO NINJAGO World, LEGO City, Bricktopia, Knight's Kingdom, Pirate Shores, and LEGO Friends Heartlake City. The Park will also feature MINILAND, a massive panorama of interactive LEGO built cities from across the country. The Park will be open seasonally from spring through fall.
LEGOLAND Hotel will be open year-round. Each of its rooms will be themed to one of four popular LEGO toys: Pirate, Castle, LEGO Friends, and NINJAGO. It will also feature play areas around every corner, a restaurant with a kid-sized buffet table, and nightly children's entertainment for families to extend their LEGOLAND experience and create treasured memories together.
LEGOLAND New York Resort is expected to generate 1,300 jobs by opening day, including 500 year-round full-time employees, 300 part-time employees, and 500 seasonal employees. LEGOLAND New York is Merlin Entertainments ninth LEGOLAND theme park, and its third in the United States. At an expected cost of $350 million, LEGOLAND New York is Merlin's largest investment in a single park to date.
