Annual Black History Awards Reception hosted at Hard Rock CafeFebruary 28, 2020Every year the Greater New York Chamber celebrates diversity and honors the legacy of black history! We bring attention to achievements and innovations that African Americans have made throughout the centuries. This year honorees are: Dr. Belinda S. Miles; President of Westchester Community College, Honorable Shawyn Patterson-Howard; Mayor of the City of Mount Vernon, Mahaliel Bethea II; Director of My Brother's Keeper, Dr. Kwadjo Owusu-Sarfo; Assistant Director GNYCC International Affairs, Valerie C. Williams, CPA; VCW/CPA Tax and Accounting. There was also a special presentation for the Montford Point Marines from GNYCC Board Member, Terrance Holliday who heads the Chamber's Military and Veterans Affairs Committee. |
